Witchaven III was a planned sequel to Witchaven and Witchaven II: Blood Vengeance as part of the Witchaven series which was meant to be developed following the completion of Corridor 8. As Capstone Software went bankrupt in 1996, neither project reached completion, and unlike the former, no prototypes of the third Witchaven game are known to exist. It has been speculated to centre around Grondoval acquiring his own kingdom, as hinted at in the epilogue of the first game. It was also likely to follow up on the nebulous motivations of the golden dragon Ikethsti from Witchaven II.
