Midway Games was an American game developer and publisher. Parent company Williams Entertainment also released several ports of the Doom series under its own name.

In the 2000s, Midway also created the first-person shooter Area 51, worked on by one John Romero. They also developed the original 1995 light-gun arcade version of Area 51, as well as CarnEvil in 1998.
