Killing Time (Every FPS Ever Made)
Killing Time is a horror-themed first-person shooter released for the 3DO console in 1995 by Studio 3DO using their in-house ZX engine, and later re-imagined for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh in 1996 by Logicware using an engine derived from Jaguar Doom.
Ports for the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation were developed, but never commercially released. A modern remaster using the Kex Engine was created by Nightdive Studios in 2024 called Killing Time Resurrected for contemporary computers and consoles. The original PC version and remaster were released digitally by Zigguart Interactive.
The game is set in a persistent and seamless open world taking place on an island estate frozen in time by an ancient Egyptian water clock.
