Hellgate for ATARI ST

Hellgate is a first-person shooter released for the Atari STe by Smartsoft in 1997. The game was written in STOS BASIC using the STOS 3D extension by David Walters. The game received a complimentary review from the Atari Times. The game's source code was released under the MIT license in 2022. The game had designers Ian Walters, Matthew Kvasnik, and David Walters, programmers David Walters an Ian Walters, and composer Jochen Hippel.

A demo was released using STOS 3D called KillThings also in 1996 by Digi Tallis, but was never developed into a full game.
