AMIGA GLOOM MOD 2015 MAZE L3 Ultimate Maze Mod DOOM Nittamituaki's MOD SERIES DOOM THANKS Alex76gr
The Gloom engine was written by Mark Sibly of Black Magic Software for use in the 1995 game Gloom for the Amiga platform. Although sector-based like the Doom engine, the levels are all the same height like the Wolfenstein 3D engine, although walls can move like in the Build engine. Originally only for the Amiga 1200, support for the older Amiga 500 was added with Gloom Deluxe, among other additions such as an on-screen weapon sprite.
Alpha Software then released two further commercial releases with the engine. Its source code was released under the unlicense in 2017. In more recent times it has been utilized to remake the Amiga games Deathmask 3D and It Came From The Desert, the later 90s shooter homage 8-Bit Killer, as well as the original concept Ultimate Maze.
