Final Doom was released in 1996 produced by id Software, and runs on the same engine as Doom II. It carries all of the same weapons, items, and enemies from Doom 2, and in the process, acts as more of an expansion than true sequel. It consists of 32 megawad files, The Plutonia Experiment (by the Casali brothers), and TNT: Evilution (by TeamTNT). Two other would-be entries, Hell to Pay and Perdition's Gate, were subsequently released unofficially by Wraith Corporation through WizardWorks.
