Eidos Interactive was a British game publisher known for releasing the Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain franchises from developers Core Design and Crystal Dynamics. It was the publisher for the first-person Thief and Deus Ex series, both influential in the immersive sim subgenre. The company was merged with Square Enix in 2009, and its rights now belong to Embracer Group.

Prior to its acquisition by Eidos in 1996, Core Design was the publisher of Corporation in 1990 through 1991.

In 2000 Eidos published Thief II: The Metal Age by Looking Glass Studios still on its Dark Engine. That same year, it was also the publisher and ultimate owner of the Ion Storm titles Daikatana, Anachronox, and Deus Ex. The first two used the Quake II engine, while the latter used the Unreal engine. In 2003 and 2004 they published Ion Storm's Deus Ex: Invisible War and Thief: Deadly Shadows using Unreal Engine 2.
