Catacomb 3-D (also known as Catacomb 3-D: A New Dimension, Catacomb 3-D: The Descent, and Catacombs 3) is a first-person shooter developed by id Software and published by Softdisk in November 1991. It is the third game in the Catacomb series for MS-DOS, and the first in first-person 2.5D, with the previous games top-down maze shooters in the vein of arcade classic Gauntlet.

It was the second first-person game by id Software, released six months after Hovertank 3D. It improved on the predecessor's formula by using texture mapping on the walls, but not on the floors or ceiling yet. This was then followed up with Wolfenstein 3D in 1992, formalizing the Wolfenstein 3D engine with the addition of raycasting.

Catacomb 3-D had a number of sequels in the Catacomb Adventure Series, still using the same engine by id Software but developed by a new Gamer's Edge team. A special collector's edition box was released in 2024 by Romero Games.
