The Build Editor is the level creation tool of the Build engine by Ken Silverman, with different versions released with different games. Modern versions include Maspter32 and XMapEdit.

The version from TekWar was later found compatible with PowerSlave. An unofficial version has also since been made for the original Witchaven. The editor from Duke Nukem 3D was used in the development of the PC version of Killing Time, before the levels then being converted to its Doom descended engine.
